The MindMaps ZA Event Calendar is a service to clients and guests. So, what’s the big deal?
We have used International and national days very effectively for a variety of clients, including politicians. It is not that easy (but possible) to generate news if there are no news. News that media will use and publish. However, some National and International days lend themselves to wonderfull opportunities for any business to create something that links into the event.
We have used press releases very effectively to boost the image of public figures where they basically come out in support of the event (e.g. Women’s Day), adding their perspective and providing guidelines on change required to really live up to the ideals of the event. There are already many days, such as Valentine’s Day, that are exploited by business. We believe that, if business tracks these events and evaluate each one from a PR and / or promotional viewpoint, many opportunities can be created to boost the image of the business or to create awareness and even sales.
